The 'SAICE Infrastructure Report Card for South Africa 2011' was officially launched on 5 April. This report is a collective opinion provided by civil engineering professionals at SAICE in the manner of “expert witness”, on the current condition of infrastructure assets.

SAICE Adjudicator Admission Criteria
Requirements for persons wishing to be considered for inclusion in the SAICE President’s List of Adjudicators have been published. These are to be applied for the period 2011 to 2014 until final criteria are developed. This document is based on the following documents, for which the relevant institutions have granted their kind permission:
- CIDB Best Practice Guideline #C3 Adjudication, 2005
- ICE Requirements for entry onto ICE’s List of Adjudicators, 2006
